I’ve been training with with Chris for a little over a year now, and it’s a testament to his skill that I’m still at it.  Like many people, I’ve struggled staying consistent with training, usually doing well for about 6 months before starting to slack off due to a combination of life’s stresses and hitting motivation-crushing plateaus.  I realize that achieving fitness goals is more marathon than sprint, but if you’re like me, it’s a challenge to stay motivated when you stop seeing dividends or the results don’t seem to come as quickly.  As a busy professional, I wanted to be able to simply show up, work hard and, importantly, continually see results.

Mission accomplished.  Chris has done a fantastic job putting together workout programs that satisfy my checklist.  Chris is one of the most knowledgeable trainers I’ve worked with.  Each workout changes about every four weeks, and Chris is very thoughtful about the mix and frequency of the exercises so things don’t get stale — i.e., the results keep coming.  The workouts strike the right balance between intensity and insanity so that I leave each session feeling like I’ve put in a lot of hard work, but I never feel the workouts are so intense they are unrealistic and unsustainable.  And, I stay motivated to keep at it because I continue to progress in my goals.  Chris pushes you hard to do better that you’ve done before, but understands that people move at different paces.  The approach Chris takes with each client is customized at every level.  As for results, I’m stronger than I’ve ever been and am really happy with how my body has responded to the workouts. I’ve kept up my 3x week schedule with Chris because he has delivered — I show up, work hard (with pushing and encouragement from Chris), and I continue to make progress.

In addition, the training facility is great.  Excellent equipment in a well-kept space.  Chris also fosters a friendly environment that makes his gym welcoming to all. His clientele spans the whole spectrum of fitness levels — from true beginners to advanced; I’m somewhere in the middle.

I would highly recommend Chris.
